The food supplement SANPROBI® Premium – The Akkermansia CompanyTM is a postbiotic containing the pasteurised bacterium Akkermansia muciniphila MucT.

A postbiotic is a product containing non-living (e.g. pasteurised) microorganisms and/or their constituents with health-promoting effects.

In this form, Akkermansia muciniphila MucT has been marketed as a NOVEL FOOD1 – it has a scientific opinion from the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) regarding the safety of its use2.

A clinical trial with the pasteurised bacterium Akkermansia muciniphila MucT was published in the renowned medical journal ‘Nature Medicine’ in 2019 3.

Carrier: microcrystalline cellulose; pasteurised Akkermansia muciniphila MucT; carrier: magnesium salts of fatty acids; capsule shell: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose.

The package contains 40 capsules, each containing 15 billion TFU4 of pasteurised Akkermansia muciniphila MucT bacteria.

The product does not contain lactose, casein, allergenic milk proteins, β-lactoglobulin or gluten.

It does not contain allergens, colourings, fragrances or preservatives, and is GMO-free. It is suitable for vegans.

For best results, take 2 capsules once a day in the morning at least 15 minutes before a meal with a glass of water. This will provide you with the same amount of pasteurised Akkermansia as in the Depommier C. al.3 According to this study, the recommended supplementation period is at least 3 months.

Daily dose: 30 billion TFU of pasteurised Akkermansia muciniphila MucT bacteria.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

The product is intended for people over 18 years of age, with the exception of pregnant and breastfeeding women.

The product does not require refrigeration. Store at room temperature not exceeding 25°C and keep out of reach of small children.
