Privacy and cookies policy
§ 1. Definitions
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, the following terms shall have the following meanings:
Controller – Sanprobi Sp. z o. o. Sp. k. with its registered office in Szczecin, ul. Kurza Stopka 5/c, 70-535 Szczecin, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs kept by the District Court in Szczecin, 13th Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under the National Court Register number: 0000311462, NIP [TAXPAYER ID NO.]: 8513070719, REGON [STATISTICAL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER]: 810997680.
- Website – the website available at www.akkermansia.pl.
- Shop – the online shop available at www.akkermansia.pl.
- User – any entity that views the content of the Website.
- GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
§ 2. Personal data
- The Controller is the Controller of the User’s personal data within the meaning of the GDPR.
- The User may provide their personal data to the Controller, for example, using the forms available on the Website and in the Shop, as well as solutions such as instant messaging and social media profiles.
- The legal basis for the processing of Users’ personal data is the voluntary, specific, informed and unambiguous consent of the User expressed by means of an appropriate form on the Website.

Personal data may also be processed if the Controller is authorised to process personal data on the basis of legal provisions or for the purpose of performing an agreement concluded between the parties, as well as on the basis of a legitimate interest pursued by the Controller. In particular:

Personal data provided to the Controller by the User in the Newsletter subscription form are processed for the purpose of providing the Newsletter service containing information about news and selected offers. Providing personal data by the User is voluntary, but necessary for the User to subscribe to and receive the Newsletter. Data processing is based on an agreement (legal basis: Article 6 section 1 letter b of the GDPR) concluded using the Newsletter subscription form. The User may terminate the agreement by unsubscribing according to the instructions contained in each Newsletter or by sending an appropriate statement to the Controller’s e-mail address. - [CONTACT FORM]
Personal data provided to the Controller by the User via the contact form or in an e-mail sent to the Controller’s address provided on the Website is processed for the purpose of responding to the enquiry sent. The provision of personal data by the User is voluntary, but necessary for the User to receive a response. Data processing for this purpose is based on the legitimate interest pursued by the Controller (Article 6 section 1 letter f of the GDPR). This data shall be processed until the end of correspondence and for one year after its completion.

- The Controller may entrust personal data to other entities with whose help it pursues the purposes indicated in the previous items (e.g. hosting service providers, accounting companies, courier companies, companies providing the Newsletter application).
- The User’s personal data shall not be transferred to recipients from third countries or international organisations that do not ensure an adequate level of protection. An adequate level of protection must be confirmed by a relevant decision of the European Commission or another binding legal instrument.
- The Controller guarantees the confidentiality of all personal data provided to it.
- Personal data is collected with due diligence and adequately protected against access by unauthorised persons, and its processing is carried out in accordance with and under the conditions specified in detail in:
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC,
- Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of electronic services,
- Act of 10 May 2018 on the protection of personal data.
§ 3. User rights
- The user has rights related to the processing of their personal data, including:
- the right to access data,
- the right to correct data,
- the right to restrict data processing,
- the right to object to data processing,
- the right to delete data (known as the right to be forgotten),
- the right to transfer data,
- the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in connection with the processing of personal data by the Controller.

§ 4. Cookies and other information
- When the User uses the Website, data relating to the User is collected automatically. This data includes, for example: IP address, domain name, browser type, operating system type. This data may be collected by cookies and may also be stored in server logs.
- Cookies are files sent to the User’s computer or other device (e.g. laptop, smartphone, tablet) and stored there while browsing the Website. Cookies remember the User’s preferences and behaviour, which enables us to improve the quality of our services, improve search results and the relevance of the information displayed, including advertisements, and anonymously track the User’s preferences. The current list of cookies used on the Website is available via the cookie bar provided on the Website.
- The User may express their consent to the use of cookies on their end device via the cookie bar available on the Website. They may also do so via the settings of the browser installed on the User’s device. In the same way, the User may withdraw their consent or change its scope at any time.
- The User may also delete existing cookies from their device using the appropriate functions of their web browser, programs designed for this purpose or tools available within the operating system used by the User.
- Data stored in server logs or using cookies are not linked by the Controller in any way to specific Website Users and are not used by the Controller to identify the User. Server logs are used to administer the Website and their content is not disclosed to anyone other than persons authorised to administer the server.
- The Website uses technologies that anonymously record the actions taken by the User while using the Website. These include:
- Google Analytics – used to analyse Website statistics;
- Facebook Pixel – used to manage and optimise advertising on Facebook.
- The data obtained by these tools are not linked in any way to specific Users of the Website and are not used by the Controller to identify the User.
- The use of the technologies listed in Article 3, item 7 shall result in the optimisation of the Website, its content and the offer of Products to the User’s needs.
§ 5. Purpose of data use
The data provided by the User or collected automatically by the Controller shall be used for the following purposes:
- proper functioning, configuration and security of the Website,
- monitoring the status of sessions,
- analysis, research and auditing of Website views,
- execution of agreements concluded via the Website,
- as well as for statistical and marketing purposes.
§6. Final provisions
- This document may be subject to changes that may be influenced by the development of Internet technology, changes in the law regarding the protection of personal data and the development of our Website and Shop. Any changes shall be communicated to Users immediately in a visible and understandable manner.
